Home / Programs
From six weeks old to twelve years old
Four programs, each staffed and planned for the children in it right now. Every room does STEM, early literacy, art and the daily work of getting along with other people, just in very different ways.
The Royal Nursery
Infants
Care that runs on your baby's rhythm, not a clock on the wall.
The infant room is calm, clean and full of soft places to land. Caregivers hold, rock, talk and sing all day, because for a baby under one the curriculum is a trusted adult. We follow the feeding and sleeping schedule you give us exactly, and every bottle, nap and diaper is written down, so you never spend an afternoon wondering.
What a day includes
- Tummy time, reaching and rolling practice, and safe floor exploration
- Sensory baskets: textures, mirrors, crinkle fabrics, cause-and-effect toys
- Songs, rhymes, baby sign language, and narrated conversation to grow early language
- Stroller walks and outdoor fresh air, weather permitting
- A written daily report plus photos sent home
Please bring bottles, formula or breast milk, diapers, wipes, and two changes of clothes. We provide cribs, sheets, and lots of clean hands.
The Squires’ Stable
Toddlers
Big movement, enormous feelings, and the discovery that "I can do it myself."
Toddlers learn with their whole bodies, so the room is built for motion: climbing, pouring, stacking, dumping it all out and starting again. The schedule stays predictable and the boundaries stay kind, which is exactly what makes a two-year-old brave enough to try something new.
What a day includes
- Sensory play with water, sand, dough, and safe art materials
- Early language: picture books, naming games, songs with motions
- First STEM: ramps and balls, magnets, sink-or-float, simple sorting
- Self-help skills: handwashing, spoon and cup use, cleanup routines
- Gentle potty-training partnership whenever your family is ready
Sleep, snacks, and outdoor time are built into every day, with a two-hour rest period in the early afternoon.
The Knights’ Academy
Preschool & Pre-K
From the first circle time at two to the runway into kindergarten at five.
The youngest preschoolers spend the year learning to be part of a group while insisting on doing everything themselves: pouring, serving, tidying, and potty training at your family's pace. The older children investigate questions they thought of themselves, run experiments that sometimes fail, and write stories in glorious invented spelling. Teachers document growth all year, and every family leaves with a real kindergarten-readiness snapshot rather than a vague reassurance.
Learning focus
- Literacy: letter sounds, rhyming, name writing, story retelling, print awareness
- Math: counting and one-to-one correspondence, patterns, shapes, sorting, measurement
- STEM: weekly investigations in building, magnets, plants, weather and simple coding games
- Creativity: open-ended art, music, movement, and dramatic play centers
- Social-emotional: naming feelings, turn-taking, problem-solving with words
- Readiness habits: listening, focus, following two- and three-step directions
The Royal Guild
School-Age
Before school, after school, and full days when school is out.
After six hours of sitting still, older kids need a snack, a friend, room to move and an adult who takes their ideas seriously. Homework hour is protected and genuinely quiet. After that the afternoon is theirs: building, making, gaming, and being outside until you get there.
What we offer
- Before-school care with breakfast and a calm start
- Supervised homework hour with help available
- STEM challenges, robotics-style builds, and maker projects
- Art, board games, team games, and daily outdoor time
- Full-day camps for school holidays, in-service days, and summer
Transportation to and from local schools may be available. Ask us during your tour.
